I don't know if you heard, but the KC Royals are in the World Series (again)! Fall is here and winter will be quickly approaching. That means the holiday season will be upon us in no time. Along, with the beautiful fall leaves, sweet snacks and awesome meals and gift giving, comes a busyness that usually can't be avoided.  We have be remember that within errand running and pumpkin carving there is blessing. When things are hectic, be grateful that there are things to be hectic about. How could you appreciate the peace without a storm? or the quiet without noise? rest without stress? Today, I looked at the colors of the leaves and appreciated the new colors emerging: orange, deep reds and yellows. I thought about gratefulness and blessings. Remember there are blessings in the old colors and the new colors, the good and the bad, the busy and the still.
